A Green Space at the Edge of the City

Thanks to The Environment Agency,  The Angling Trust, C.o.Y.C .Dringhouses and Woodthorpe Ward Committee, Froglife and all the Volunteers who help maintain and improve this site 

We have been very fortunate to have been able to host the Good Gym team who have been active in spring 2021 constructing paths in the Bird Garden, raking up the scythed vegetation, preparing areas by the paths for sowing wild flower seeds.

We are into June now and the grass is growing, the geese need a hand to keep it down and there is a variety of jobs to be done. We have been meeting onsite on Mondays between 10 and 12 to take care of clipping mowing and raking and specific projects such as bank and peg repair and planting Reeds and Lilly's.
