The pond holds Common, Mirror and Crucian Carp along with lots of Goldfish and hybrids, Tench, Bream , Roach , Rudd , Perch.
Carp average 5-7lb , lots of doubles and a few 15 -20lb
Perch to 3lb
Tench to 2lb
Roach / Bream to 1lb
Fishing Permits
Fishing on the pond is limited to Permit Holders who must hold an Environment Agency Rod licence.
The cost for a 2021/22 permit has been set at £30.00 Concessions are available for young people under the age of 16.
The permit system is enforced by a team of Water Bailiffs - (Photos on the button below) who will be on hand throughout the season to inspect and sell permits, Application forms are available from the box on the gate, or you can download and print your own on the button below. The team is comprised of volunteers drawn mainly from the local fishing community and the management of the site would ask fishermen to give them the respect and support they deserve.
